On April 15, 1983 Tokyo Disneyland opened as a single theme park and was the first Disney theme park opened outside the United States. In subsequent years it developed into a resort with a second theme park, Tokyo Disney Sea, six hotels and a shopping complex. The resort is fully owned and operated by the Oriental Land Company under a license with The Walt Disney Company. The resort consists of Tokyo Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea and Ikspiari, which is like Disney Springs. There are a total of seven Disney-branded hotels, four deluxe, one moderate and one value. There are six non-Disney branded hotels also on the property. The facilities are linked by the Disney Resort monorail.
This is the main corridor and shopping area of Tokyo Disneyland. The bazaar consists of two intersecting streets, Main Street and Center Street. World Bazaar has a permanent canopy covering designed to protect guests from the elements.
This land consists of two areas: a New Orleans themed area and a jungle themed area. Attractions include Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean and The Enchanted Tiki Room. There are a number of restaurants, including The Blue Bayou which visitors to Disneyland in California will be familiar with.

A new Beauty and the Beast section has opened in Fantasyland and includes the attraction Enchanted Tale of Beauty and the Beast.
This land opened in 1996 and is largely a copy of the original Mickey's Toontown in Disneyland in California. Attractions include Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin.
This land was designed as a loose copy of Walt Disney World's Tomorrowland with a science fiction fantasy theme. Attractions include Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters, Star Tours and The Happy Ride with Baymax. In April 2024 it was announced that Buzz Lightyear's Astro Blasters would be closing and replaced with a Wreck It Ralph attraction.

This is the entrance to DisneySea and is themed as an Italian port city with gondolas for guests to ride. The Tokyo DisneySea Hotel MiraCosta is built into the architecture of the port. This combination of a real hotel within the theme park is meant to further the illusion that you are in an actual city.
This land is a recreation of Jules Verne's novel The Mysterious Island which is Captain Nemo's lair. The centerpiece of the land is the volcano Mount Prometheus. Attractions include 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Journey to the Center of the Earth.
This land is home to characters of The Little Mermaid and resembles King Triton's palace with sea-shell inspired architecture. This land features children's rides and a playground that recreates themes from the movie.
